2017 Quarter Error
On the reverse side of the coin the design shows Frederick Douglass writing at his estate in Washington D.C. Frederick Douglass was a writer and a leader of the abolitionist movement.
The Frederick Douglass National Historic Site is located in Washington D.C. and it preserves Douglass' home and estate.

The US minted different series of the Frederick Douglass quarter. There is the 2017 P quarter, 2017 D quarter, 2017 S quarter, 2017 S proof quarter and 2017 S silver proof quarter.

MS 63 choice uncirculated- In the major focal areas there are some blemishes or contact marks. The coin's luster might not be as prominent.
MS 65 gem uncirculated- There is strong luster and eye appeal. A few light contact marks may be present but they are barely noticeable.
PR 65 proof- There are no flaws to this coin. A few blemishes may be present.
