Buzzword Bingo
The idea was that whenever you heard a buzzword, you’d mark the pertinent box (surreptitiously, of course). As in bingo, you strove to be the first person to mark five boxes in a row. In this version, however, it was not advisable to leap to your feet and shout “Bingo!”. Bbcg is a Buzzword Bingo Card Generator. It generates postscript bingo cards with buzzwords from a database. It will be the Next Big Thing in meetings. People know they’re being marketed to now so buzzwords don’t have the same impact they may have in the past. These are all reasons why we’ve created BI Buzzword Bingo (hit the 'download' button below). So the next time you’re at a conference or in a meeting, why not have some fun by playing Yellowfin’s buzzword bingo. We used to do this. We had a program that would randomly generate a set of 5x5 bingo cards where each card was unique. Each square would have a buzzword with the center square marked FREE. The card was printed on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper and was formatted so that it could be folded in half and unobtrusively kept in a Franklin planner.
You: 'Of course!'
Me: 'Ok, I've got: global, expansion, cost-cutting, and strategy.'
You: 'Fine. I'll take layoffs, acquisition, growth model, and sync.'
